Beauty:Birds of Paradise - Feather Hairdos

Instead of pacing the catwalk up and down lately the models at Nina Ricci, Jean Paul Gaultier and other designers flew. But what's the reason for this strange attitude? Here comes the answer:It's the beauty artists new coup to 'pimp' the model's hairdos with various feathers of any birds.
This special hair decoration gives a kind of strange but anyway great touch if it's not too much.I guess I wouldn't wear this trend but I could imagine a bride in a white dress with those white feathers in her hair. And you?Would you wear it?

Small feather fascinators are an easy and stylish way to incorporate this look into everyday wear. I would definitely wear those! There are tons available on etsy if you're interested :)

I noticed that too!
Chanel is even selling this hairpin that looks like a feather. Haha, great post.

so breathtaking, really feathers are. They just remind me of birds carrying around fleas and disease

I have a little feather headband that I love, but I have been too afraid of anything more, probably for lack of variety of feather possibilities I have seen. I Love the way the models pull them off though, but then again, who does not like the way models look?

I'd wear it to a real special occasion..
however, maybe just on a hair pin in the back of my hair to give a daily outfit a special touch..
but not like that, straight in your face..
like it though

Feather in the hair gives kinds of mysterious feel! I like slightly smaller feather hairband or fascinators. It will be great for evening or party and I love them xx

I think I'll stick to more subtle feather fascinators for every day wear--this is fun but a bit dramatic for me.
