Embroidered Purses&Bags - A little 'Granny' - charm

Embroidered stuff always let me think on my Granny sitting on a chair and stitching a tea-cloth.
My mother bought a few weeks ago this flowered stitched purse. She doesn't use it and my faux 'Miu Miu' purse is broken so I got her new one. It's very big and reminds a bit to a clutch but I love it.
Embroidered bags/purses give the outfit an interesting vintage character like seen on topmodel Iekeline Stange and a few other bloggers. What do you think?Only something for old ladies or definately something for your wardrobe?Tell me!

Love

I actually have a bag like that that my Gran gave me that she carried on her wedding day.

Reminds me so much of the one Iekeliene Stange wore to the Paris Fashion Week. Chic.

I like these, I keep finding ones at vintage shops but not quite cheap enough for me (when it is vintage and exceeds $10 I think it's too expensive!).

i'm not a fan of that type of granny bag. personally i don't think i look good with it. but iekeline looks good with it. so i can see how some people may be able to pull it off. =)

I think it all depends on the outfit. If you're going for a very vintage look I say go for it but it's not a good everyday bag in my opinion

embroidered stuff is fine, but she really looks like a feeble old lady in the picture.

In a way she looks like an old lady but anyway I like it on her :)

Definately for my wardrobe. I think sometimes I love to dress like a granny, because everything looks so vintage and chic, with a story in it. A little bit of magic. Okay, so now i'm exagerating but you got my point. =)
