News:Marimekko for H&M

H&M designers have created a new and fresh summer collection with Marimekko's popular patterns from the 50's,60's and 70's.The collection has a graphical overall look in bright colors.It include wide dresses,tunics, shorts and skirts.There will be also a few items for kids and men.
Love this look and can't wait to see the pieces and try them!

The Look:Black Maxi Skirts

If I hear the word 'black maxi skirt' I think of aweful fashion.Last year Mary-Kate Olsen showed the opposite:She looked wonderful in a long black jersy dress,simple white v-neck shirt and XL-cross necklace.I just loved it on her!And Mary-Kate is not the only one who likes the long piece:Kate Moss and Nicole Richie also showed off with long black skirts.

I really like them on those 3 ladies but can't imagine that it would look great on me.If I find a nice one I'll definately try it on...

Event Watch:Miu Miu After Show Party

After a great fashion week fashionista Chloe Sevigny invited the guests of the Miu Miu Pre-Fall show 2008 to celebrate in Paris' hot spot 'Le Castle' the succes of the latest collection. Mary-Kate Olsen,Mischa Barton,Milla Jovovich,Julia Restoin Roitfeld and Lara Stone were only 5 of the 30 guests.Hostess Chloe changed her outfit during the party - what she wore?Of course Miu Miu!
My favorite outfit of the evening was MK's.Love her scarf and the red XL-
chemise....

Gossip:Harlow Winter Kate Madden

Finally the first pics of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's first daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden were repushled in US People magazin.

Harlow looks so cute and like her mother.I can't wait to see more pics of this young fashionista....

Runway Review:Giambattista Valli Spring 2008 Ready to Wear

On 20th March the official Spring stars so let's hope for better weather.
For the 19 left days we should equipment ourselves with the latest trends and must-haves for the bright season.So here's a little Runway Review from these year's Spring shows.Today:Giambattists Valli!
Already on 4th October last year the designer opened his show in Paris with a caftan shape that reminds (like the whole collection) to Veruschka.
On top Valli presented many dresses in white and pink.Change in style to the airy dresses were bold sandals that remind a bit to a stripper.
All in all Mister Valli did a well job.
Mary-Kate Olsen seemed to be same opinion as me:She showed off in the white mini dress Viviane Orth presented at 7th on Sale Gala in November.....
