A minus for Olivia

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Actually I'm totally into Olivia Palermo's style since she is always looking elegant but yet cool and stylish. When I saw this pic of her at NY fashion week I was a little disappointed though. This plaid shirt destroyed the entire look which would have been absolutely stunning and Olivia-like with a simple white/black shirt.

Yes, a white shirt would also be cool. But this one isn't too bad, I think.

Despite the shirt, I like this too. I love the coat. I wish it was black tights weather here in Australia. It's so hot, the thought of tights make me a bit faint haha.

The cardigan and short don't match with the blouse but normally I like her style, lovely girl!

I agree, I like Olivia looking perfectly polished. She's not the girl I want to see in plaid.

Love Grace.

Actually I think plaid suits the look - it makes it a bit more casual with the dressy tights.

you're right... the textures in the coat and the shorts call for a simple shirt, black or white, maybe even something bright but NOT plaid! ACK.

love her, though.

I totally agree, it's a great cute casual outfit, but that's so not Olivia.

I agree - not a fan of this look. She's been falling flat lately.

I absolutely agree! A white or off-white button down, with the top buttons undone like that. It's just too much, the colors, the patters, the different styles... weird, she is usually so spot-on!

She has great style, I think, but not in this pic! I am with you on the plaid shirt, it doesn't work here.

I totally agree with you! Olivia Palermo has this sence of style, which I think is missing with me sometimes, but I'm glad to see that even Olivia is not always making a good choise. Anyway, she still is amazing! And so is your blog. Love it! Keep it up! xoxo, Sandra
